School is back in session and I'm starting to feel a bit of fall in the air. Talking to my kids about all of the new things they are learning in their new classes has made me excited to try some different techniques with printmaking.
Several years ago, I discovered some Japanese paper yarn (Habu textiles) and I've been kniiting with it. Lately I've been playing with how to incorporate the paper yarn and some printmaking techniques.
As those of you who came to my last show saw, I've done some pieces with sewing and prints combined. I'm feeling as though there are more possibilities for incorporating craft techniques into my printmaking.
Watch for more on where this goes...
